Location:** Kiel, Germany Starting date: as soon as possible Working hours: 40 hours / week ******  Your role in our MINT Family: Set up, configure, monitor and administrate workstations, servers, network devices, and other internal systems Provide support for end-users, resolving issues with hardware, software, network connectivity Manage user accounts, permissions and access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel can access sensitive data Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems in SaaS solution Set up and monitor backup systems, perform regular tests and execute disaster recovery plans to protect data integrity Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, such as software updates, backups and monitoring Collaborate with other IT teams and departments on projects such as system migrations, software rollouts and new infrastructure deployments Supports the implementation of new solutions or applications This is how you can impress us: You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field You are proficient in managing Linux and Windows Server operating systems You are familiar with supporting Apple devices running macOS or iOS and have experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform You possess strong scripting skills in languages like Bash or PowerShell for automation and task management You have a solid understanding of database management principles as well as network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls You have experience working with VPNs, proxy servers, load balancers, and network monitoring tools and are familiar with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios and Grafana You are capable of setting up and maintaining system health checks and performance alerts You excel at troubleshooting hardware, software and network-related issues You are experienced in using ticketing systems like Jira to document issues and manage incident responses  You have a solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements and are familiar with endpoint protection, firewalls, patch management and access control solutions You have experience implementing backup solutions and disaster recovery plans, including creating and testing backup and recovery procedures You have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders You excel under pressure, efficiently managing multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail You bring exceptional problem-solving, analytical and communication abilities, combined with a passion for continuous learning and a strong work ethic What we have in store for you: Our people & culture: at MINT you will be part of a global team that thrives on our cultural diversity.
