Work with us at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and help to make research for a life without cancer. We use modern technology and IT solutions to support cancer research. Become part of our HIFIS team and help us build and run cloud services for science.
💻 Your Tasks 💻
Work with scientists from different fields and find IT solutions for their needs
Provide and support web-based cloud services in the HIFIS environment
Administer and improve Linux-based platforms
Plan and design microservice-oriented service delivery
Support and modernize our existing cloud infrastructure
Integrate cloud services with central and federated authentication systems
Develop own technical solutions for complex requirements

Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in computer science or similar qualification
- Work experience in IT environments, ideally with private cloud infrastructure
- Programming experience in Python, Java, C, or C++
- First experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, and microservices
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Structured and independent work style with strong teamwork skills
- Reliable, efficient and motivated way of working
