ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR COMPANY
Reppublika is a multinational media tech company headquartered in Vienna, developing our own SaaS product in the field of online advertising, access panels and digital market research. We are currently a team of 60, including 40 developers, working both on-site and from homeoffice in Latvia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Greece. We are looking for a Mid-level or Senior Backend Developer to join the team in one of our offices, or fully remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop minor and major application features - from coding to testing and deploying
• Code, test, and deploy new features; Troubleshoot application bugs and determine resolutions
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability
• Suggest improvements, security needs, best practices, etc (we welcome initiative and ideas)
The recruitment process is handled by our parent company Tito & Friends - a holding group that includes our partner company Reppublika Research and the fieldwork provider Talk Online Panel. The process will typically include one preliminary interview with our HR, followed by one technical interview with senior members of the Dev team. Anforderungen
- Experience of at least 4 years working with PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Laravel and git
- Experience developing RestAPIs
- Ease in writing, editing, and maintaining Unit/Feature tests
- Appreciation for clean, reusable, and well tested code, and attention to detail
- Good English skills, experience in clear and empathetic communication within a remote team
