First of all, I would like to share my excitement with the proposed position that opens a lot of opportunities for providing services as a QA and at the same time gives a broad range of perspectives for personal and professional development. It is especially essential for me because I’m a young specialist from Ukraine, who is currently a refugee in Germany and is looking for the position that will give me an opportunity to bring my prior expertise and skills and also will serve as an entry point for work in Germany.
Despite the fact that my relocation from Ukraine was driven by war rather than planned strategy, I considered Germany as a priority country for being a shelter and a new stardom for my professional career. The main reason for this is the fact that I’ve got an experience in working for and with German IT companies and I appreciate their/your approaches to project implementation, ethics, HR processes, management in general and ability to create a warm, supportive and transparent atmosphere in a team. This is especially important for me as a woman-IT specialist as I had been empowered and supported through my work particularly in German projects and with German colleagues.
I’ve been working in the IT sector for more than 6 years: initially started as a content manager and coordinator for American Chamber of Commerce, I have made a path from a handy-woman being a newbie in the IT department to an independent skilled QA Engineer. I have been involved both individually and as part of a team in realisation of the wide spectrum of projects/products,ranging from Augmented reality experience for possible airlines customers (Cannes Lions Award, 2017) to precise and reliable software used by cashiers at more than 200 German gas stations (Shell, 2021).
Besides specific professional development in IT itself, I gained valuable expertise in developing and sustaining relations between technical support teams, account managers, client's representatives, and developers.
