As a freelance documentary film maker I'm currently producing a series called 'AUF AUGENHÖHE' for the tv channel rbb.

At eye level
(original title in German: „Auf Augenhöhe“)

In this new tv documentary series one refugee and one local meet for the first time and spend a day together. They know nothing about the other person or how they will spend the day. The only thing they know is that they have something in common and that they should bring a little present.

„At eye level“ strives for a demystification of the „fear of foreigners“ by connecting people with each other who share common interests,
regardless of where they originate from. Through these encounters a platform is offered on which the protagonists engage with each other,
exchange ideas, maybe even learn form each other - and especially: meet each other on an equal footing.

Hard facts:
1 day of filming (ca. 8 hours)
€100 for each participant
