FCZB is a non-profit organisation in the area of education and vocational training. About twenty employees plus several free lance trainers and other workers - women with very different professional and cultural backrounds -make up the FCZB team. FCZB aims to improve women’s employment opportunities. The center has been developing and implementing innovative training programmes for women in ICT since 1984. It targets women with different cultural and educational backgrounds and different needs. The target groups range from unemployed women and those at risk of unemployment, immigrant women, women with disabilities, women in prisons to unemployed academics and women on the job.
With regard to continuing training and education FCZB also works in partnership with public institutions, companies and ngo on the implementation of gender equality and gender diversity strategies. FCZB has gathered profound expertise in working with transnational programmes and European
project partners.
