Intro
As an Associate Scrum Master at Qvest Stream GmbH, you will support our iterative product team working on our broadcast software products, Makalu and ClipBox – solutions that help broadcasters, media companies, and broadcast service providers worldwide manage their daily workflows.
You will lead the team's sprints, support the Product Owner with backlog activities, and ensure that our Jira always reflects an accurate status. Together with Development, UX/UI, and Deployment, you will help translate the broadcast-related technical requirements of our clients into clear, deliverable increments.

Description
Preparation, moderation, and follow-up of all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily, Refinement, Review, Retrospective)
Operational management of the Sprints for our product team for Makalu and ClipBox – ensuring focus, flow, and a clear sprint process
Supporting the Product Owner in maintaining, structuring, and prioritising the Product Backlog
Maintaining and further developing our Sprint and Team boards in Jira, along with the associated documentation in Confluence
Close collaboration with Product Owner, Development, UX/UI, and Deployment across our software products
Promoting transparency, self-organisation, and continuous improvement within the team
Contributing to the further development of our iterative, sprint-based work methods and engineering culture
Requirements
Successfully completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Technology, Business Administration) or a comparable qualification
1-2 years of practical experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in an iterative, sprint-based software or product development environment
Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe – with a focus on teamwork and the ability to apply the most suitable framework confidently and appropriately.
Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence in daily sprint and team activities
Certification in the Scrum field (e.g., PSM I, CSM) is desirable but not essential
Affinity for software development and SaaS products, along with proven experience or keen interest in the broadcast or media-tech environment
Strong communication skills, moderation expertise, and empathy in dealing with various stakeholders
Structured, independent working style with a pronounced team and service-oriented mindset
Native-level German and fluent English, both spoken and written
