Job Software Engineer, Live & Max for Live (d/f/m)

Your Mission
As a software engineer working at Ableton, you will be part of a team that takes great care to evolve our products to better support people across the globe in their journeys as music-makers. Together with other engineers, designers, user researchers, and product owners, you will be discovering and delivering valuable additions and refinements to the software. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products, processes, and company culture.
Joining the Focus Area Live (as opposed to Sound, which mainly evolves Live’s devices such as audio/MIDI effects and instruments) would make you part of one of five teams evolving Live’s user interface together with its supporting data infrastructure to reduce barriers to creative flow and to better support canonical as well as innovative music-making workflows.
Joining the Max for Live Team means working on evolving a unique technology for forward-thinking creative technologists. You will contribute to extending the toolkit at the intersection of both Live and Max, in a team that crosses the boundary between Ableton and Cycling '74. Your audience will encompass a wide variety of users, from curious explorers to expert builders.
Joining the Focus Area Connect would put you on a team that is working on integrating Live into the growing constellation of connected Ableton products and services. You will collaborate with the other teams in this ecosystem to enable music makers to stay in the creative flow across devices and products.
We don’t require everyone to work from our office by default, you’ll be able to choose your preferred work setup (remote, hybrid, or fully on-site in Berlin).
