About us
The Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy in Leipzig, Germany is one of more than 60 permanent institutes within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Europe's leading organization for applied research and development. Focusing on internationalization processes in innovation and business, the Leipzig Fraunhofer Center
develops research-based strategies for clients in government, industry, and science.
Our projects aim to devise sustainable responses to global trends such as the accelerating development towards a global knowledge economy and value creation in increasingly international settings. In this context, we work closely with regional, national, and multilateral institutions, as well as internationally operating enterprises. Our expertise ranges from innovation policy instruments, to mechanisms of knowledge and technology transfer, as well as innovation management and business internationalization practices.
