Chemonics seeks monitoring, evaluation, and learning/research specialists for an anticipated Department of State-funded local governance and civil society project in Syria. These positions are based in Berlin, Germany, and do not require travel to Syria. All applicants must have current work authorization in Europe. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Assist in development of the project’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems
Ensure appropriate data capture
Review the collection of data and quality of reports on the Syrian context
Consolidate findings, produce reports, and incorporate M&E priorities into project activities
Minimum three years of demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation and in analysis and reporting on project impact and implementation
Experience with gathering and analyzing data in support of project or activity implementation strongly preferred
Experience working on Syria-related efforts, preferably in the northeast
Understanding of U.S. State Department or similar monitoring, evaluation, and learning requirements preferred
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Fluency in Arabic and English; Kurdish language skill an advantage
